The UK National Grid Service
The
White Rose Grid at Leeds hosts one of the four core nodes of
the National Grid Service (NGS), which offers a production quality
grid service for use by UK academia.
These four nodes have been acquired
from funding allocated by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) and
Science and Technology Funding Council (STFC) at RAL.
The service is extended further by
incorporating partners and affiliates
resources.
The NGS can be seen as a
collection of nodes, each of which offers a broad set of resources,
delivering jointly the grid service and
providing significant heterogeneous
computational facilities for UK researchers.

Service and details of how to register on this service are available
